# Email verification

> Verify your Mythex email with a one-time code — required before building with the agent and before publishing.

# Email verification

## Why verify

* Protects accounts
* **Required before the coding agent can run**
* **Required before publish**

Until verification succeeds, agent runs are blocked (you will see an email-verification prompt in the product).

## How it works

1. Mythex emails a **6-digit code** (about **15 minutes** validity)
2. Enter it on [verify-email](https://mythex.ai/verify-email)
3. Return to the project and start (or resume) building
4. Publish when ready

## Didn’t get a code?

* Check spam / promotions
* Request a new code from the verify screen
* Confirm the email spelling on the account
* Google signup is usually already verified via OAuth — if publish or build still blocks, contact support
