# Language

> Use Mythex in 65 languages — Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi and more. Auto-detect from your browser or pick one; it follows your account to every device, with full right-to-left support.

# Language

Mythex speaks **65 languages** — the same list ChatGPT offers. Menus, buttons,
settings, messages and the public website all switch, and the agent answers you
in the language you write in.

## Change the language

1. Open **[Account settings](https://mythex.ai/settings)** — your **avatar** at the bottom of the sidebar → **Account settings**
2. Under **Language**, pick one — each language is listed in its own name (العربية, Deutsch, 日本語…)
3. The app switches at once, no reload

**Auto-detect** (the default) follows your browser's language. The menu shows
which one it picked, for example *Follows your browser (Español)*. If your
browser's language isn't one of the 65, Mythex uses English.

Your choice is saved to your **account**, so your laptop, phone and any new
device follow it after you sign in. Choose **Auto-detect** again to go back to
following each browser.

## The agent and your language

* **Replies** — the agent writes in the language of your latest message: the
  reply, the short notes while it works, and the summary at the end. Write in
  Arabic and it answers in Arabic, even if the app is set to English.
* **Project names** — a new project is named in the language of your first
  prompt.
* **Code stays code.** File names, commands and the code itself are not
  translated.
* **Your app's language is up to you.** The app language setting does not
  change the app you build. Ask for it in your prompt: *"Build it in Spanish"*,
  *"Arabic, right-to-left"*, *"English and French with a language switch"*.

## Right-to-left languages

Arabic, Persian (فارسی) and Urdu (اردو) run right-to-left: the layout mirrors,
the sidebar and drawers open from the right, and arrows point the reading way.
Code, the terminal, URLs and file paths stay left-to-right.

Text boxes follow what you type: an email typed on an Arabic screen runs from
the left, and Arabic typed on an English screen runs from the right.

## The public website

The main pages of [mythex.ai](https://mythex.ai) — home, pricing, FAQ, about,
use cases and the guide and blog indexes — are translated too, at their own
address: `mythex.ai/ar`, `mythex.ai/es`, `mythex.ai/ja`, `mythex.ai/pt-br` and
so on. Visitors are sent to their language automatically.
