## What are credits?

Credits power the AI builder (**build**) and published-app hosting & database (**runtime**). See [Credits](/billing/credits) for the full breakdown.

## Free vs Pro

* **Free** — **5 build credits/day** (up to **30/mo**) + **20 runtime credits/mo**
* **Pro** — **100 build credits/mo** + **5/day** + **20 runtime credits**; can buy **50 credits for \$15**

## What happens when I run out?

Building pauses with a nudge above chat. Free users can upgrade; Pro users can top up. Projects stay intact. Free published apps pause when **runtime** credits run out.
