# Publish FAQ

## Can I publish for free?

Yes. Free and Pro can publish to a Mythex subdomain, gated by **runtime credits** and live-app limits. Email must be [verified](/account/email-verification) first.

## What URL do I get?

`{slug}.mythex.ai` (or your configured host). Pro can add a [custom domain](/publish/custom-domain).

## How do I update a live app?

Change the project, confirm Preview, then publish again. See [How to publish](/publish/how-to-publish).

## How do I take an app offline?

[Unpublish](/publish/unpublish) from the Publish dialog. Project files remain.

## Publish failed — what now?

Check [Publish troubleshooting](/publish/troubleshooting). Use **Fix with AI** / `/fix` when logs show build or boot errors.
