# Project settings

> Rename the project, manage secrets, export or import archives, and connect GitHub.

# Project settings

From the project workspace, open **project settings**.

## Tabs you can use

| Tab         | What it does                                                     |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **General** | Project name and high-level info                                 |
| **Secrets** | Environment variables for the sandbox and deploys                |
| **Export**  | Download a `.tar.gz`, or **import** an archive into this project |
| **GitHub**  | Connect OAuth, push/pull sync                                    |

## Database and storage

Enable a project **database** or **file storage** from chat with `/database` or `/storage` (or ask in plain language) — not as separate settings tabs. See [Database](/features/database) and [Storage](/features/storage).

## Delete project

You can also delete a project from the [projects library](/getting-started/projects-library) **⋯** menu, or from settings when the UI offers it. Publishing goes offline with the project.
