# Create an account

> Sign up for Mythex with email and password or Google, verify your email, then open the builder.

# Create an account

## Sign up

1. Open [mythex.ai/signup](https://mythex.ai/signup).
2. Choose **email + password** or **Continue with Google**.
3. Complete signup. You land in the builder / dashboard.

### Password rules

* Minimum **8 characters** (API-enforced)

### Google-only accounts

If you signed up with Google only, use **Continue with Google** to sign in. Password reset email applies to password-based accounts.

## Sign in later

* Forgot password: [mythex.ai/forgot-password](https://mythex.ai/forgot-password) (password accounts)

## Email verification (required to build)

Email/password users receive a **6-digit verification code** (about 15 minutes validity).

* **You must verify before the coding agent can run**
* **Publishing also requires a verified email**

Google accounts are usually already verified via OAuth.
