# Mythex on iPhone and Android

> Get the Mythex app for iPhone and Android — the same account, projects and credits as the website. Build by chat, watch the preview, and get told when a build is done.

# Mythex on iPhone and Android

Mythex has its own app for **iPhone** and **Android** phones. It is the same Mythex as the website: you sign in with the same account and see the same projects and credits, so you can start an app on your laptop and keep going on your phone.

## Signing in

Sign in with **Google**, **Apple** or **email** — whichever you use on the website. Your projects, workspaces, plan and credits are all there; nothing needs to be moved or synced.

New to Mythex? You can create an account in the app with your email. See [Create an account](https://docs.mythex.ai/getting-started/create-account.md).

## What you can do in the app

* **Build and edit by chatting** — type, or use [voice input](https://docs.mythex.ai/features/voice-input.md) to say what you want.
* **See the live preview** — swipe between the chat and the preview of your app. While the agent works, a small pill on the preview shows what it is doing.
* **Publish** your app to a public link. See [How to publish](https://docs.mythex.ai/publish/how-to-publish.md).
* **Connectors** — connect the services your app uses. See [Connectors](https://docs.mythex.ai/features/connectors.md).
* **Projects library** — open, find and manage your projects. See [Projects library](https://docs.mythex.ai/getting-started/projects-library.md).
* **Settings** — your account, plan and language. Mythex is in 60+ languages; see [Language](https://docs.mythex.ai/account/language.md).

## Notifications

The app can send a **push notification when a build finishes**, so you can send a request, lock your phone, and come back when it's done. Allow notifications when the app asks; you can change it later in your phone's settings.

How they behave — one per finished turn, and quiet while you are looking at that project — is the same as on the web. See [Notifications](https://docs.mythex.ai/account/notifications.md).

## Plans and credits

You can buy a plan or credits inside the app. On iPhone the payment goes through **Apple**, on Android through **Google Play**. They are the same plans as on the website, and they apply to your whole account — web and app. See [Plans](https://docs.mythex.ai/billing/plans.md) and [Credits](https://docs.mythex.ai/billing/credits.md).

## Updates

New versions of the app come through the App Store and Google Play, like any other app. Turning on automatic updates on your phone keeps it current.

Once in a while an older version is no longer supported. Then the app shows **Update required** with a button that opens the App Store or Google Play. Update there, open the app again, and you're back where you were.

## Questions

**Is there an iPad app?** No — the App Store app is for iPhone only. On an iPad, open [mythex.ai](https://mythex.ai) in Safari; the website does everything the app does.

**Android tablets?** The Google Play listing is for Android phones. On a tablet, use [mythex.ai](https://mythex.ai) in your browser.

**Do I need a separate account or plan for the app?** No. It is the same account, the same projects and the same credits as the website.
