# Partner terms

> The terms of the Mythex partner program — who can be a partner, how clients are tied to you, commission rates, payouts, and when a partnership ends.

# Partner terms

These terms apply to everyone in the Mythex [partner program](/introduction/partners), on both tracks. By using your partner link you agree to them. They sit alongside the Mythex [Terms of Service](https://mythex.ai/terms).

## 1. Joining

* Partners are approved by Mythex. We may decline an application without giving a reason.
* You need a Mythex account in good standing, and you must keep your own plan active: **Pro** or above on the Expert track, **Business** or above on the Agency track.

## 2. Clients

* A client is a new Mythex account created within 60 days of opening your partner link.
* A client is tied to you once, when they sign up. We can't move an existing account to you, and a client can't be tied to two partners.
* You can't earn on your own account, on accounts you or your team create for yourselves, or on accounts created to get a commission.

## 3. Commission

* **Experts:** 10% of what a client pays for Business or Enterprise.
* **Agencies:** 10% of what a client pays for Business, and 20% of what a client pays for Enterprise.
* Nothing is earned on Free, Pro, top-ups or other purchases.
* Commission is on the amount paid, before tax and after discounts and refunds, for each client's first 12 months from their first commissionable payment, while they keep paying.
* No commission is earned on payments made while your own plan is below your track's, or while your partnership is paused.

## 4. Payouts

* A commission becomes payable 30 days after the client's payment. A refund or chargeback in that time cancels it; one after payout may be taken from later payouts.
* We pay once a month by PayPal or Wise, to the details on your dashboard, when at least \$50 is payable. Smaller amounts roll over.
* You're responsible for your own taxes.

## 5. Conduct

* Follow the [rules](/introduction/partners#rules): one workspace per client, your own account for each person, two-factor sign-in on, the client's written OK before you work in their workspace.
* No spam, no misleading claims about Mythex, no paid ads on Mythex's name, and no "Mythex" in your domain names. Use official brand assets only.

## 6. Ending

* You can leave at any time by emailing [support@mythex.ai](mailto:support@mythex.ai).
* We may pause or end a partnership if these terms are broken, for fraud, or if the program changes. Commissions earned and payable before then are paid, except where they came from a breach or fraud.
* We may change these terms or the rates. Changes apply to payments made after we announce them.
