Student discount

Students and teachers at schools, colleges and universities get 50% off Pro for 12 months: Pro at 100 credits for $12.50/month instead of $25. After 12 months it carries on at the normal price, $25/month. Claim it at mythex.ai/students.

Who qualifies

  • Students and teachers with an email address from their school, college or university.
  • Accounts on the Free plan. If you already pay for Mythex or are on a trial, the discount can’t be added to your plan.
  • Once per account. It can’t be moved to another account, and once it has been used or cancelled it can’t be claimed again.
  • No trial on top. The discount replaces the 3-day Pro trial: you pay $12.50 from the first month.
A school email is one on an academic domain (like .edu, .edu.au, .ac.uk, .ac.jp, .k12.ca.us or .sch.uk) or on a known university’s domain, including its subdomains (name@mail.university.edu). Each school email can verify one Mythex account.

How to claim it

  1. Sign in to Mythex, or create a free account. It can be your personal email.
  2. Open mythex.ai/students, enter your school email and click Send code. Type in the 6-digit code we send to it. The code expires in 15 minutes, and you get 5 tries.
  3. Click Get Pro for $12.50/month. Stripe Checkout opens with the discount already applied.
The discount is for Pro at 100 credits, billed monthly. Other tiers, yearly billing and other plans are at the normal price.

After you upgrade

  • You’re on Pro, with everything Pro has. See Plans.
  • Your invoices show 50% off for 12 monthly payments, then $25/month. We don’t ask you to confirm your school again.
  • You can change plan or cancel at any time from /billing. If you cancel or move to another plan, the discount ends and can’t be claimed again.

Questions

My school isn’t recognized. Some schools are missed. Email support@mythex.ai from your account with proof that you study or teach there, such as a student or staff ID. My school email will stop working. The discount is on your Mythex account, not on the school email, so it keeps working. If you sign in with your school email, move your projects to another workspace or invite another account before you lose access to it. See Workspaces. Teachers?
